Ancillary task reconstruction: film poster

I have had a go at recreating a film poster for my ancillary task. I decided to go with the iconic scream film poster. This looked quite simple for my first go at recreating and I think it has been successful. I have went of dafont.com which has allowed me to get similar fonts to the original movie. To recreate this film poster I planned a photo-shoot with my friend Hannah and took various shots until I found one which I could recreate into a film poster. we had to refer back to the image to ensure the pose was correct. Furthermore in preparation she made sure she was wearing a lipstick just like the woman on the photograph this again makes it more similar. Overall I am happy with the finish although I may have added in darker shadows around the nose and eyes to make more of a likeness.

My original shot was This:

I have used photoshop in order to crop and use effects on this to make it more like the original 1996 film poster.

Previous to this I had sent my model Hannah a photograph of the film poster over the social network 'instagram' this meant she had previous knowledge and could plan in advance.
