Reflection on lesson
This screen shot shows I have exported my trailer and put it on youtube. This allows me to embed in on my blog and gain feedback for improvements.
I have published my trailer on my website. Although I have not taken photographs for my website yet I have placed an exsisting one in the correct place in order to get a layout I am ultimately happy with.

Trailer first draft
This is the first draft of my horror movie trailer. I will collect feedback and improve accordingly to allow for a better quality trailer.
Feedback from lecturer
I was told to improve by possibly adding in sound effects which match the action of my clip and relate to the horror genre. On the scene of the young girl being snatched, I was advised to try a scream sound effect in order to add to the thrilling action. This feedback has influenced by creative process and allowed me to improve.
To do list for today
Complete my homepage for my website task to allow me to move onto other sections which will give me enough time to reach my deadlines. On my about page I need to complete my plot and design of the page.

Billing Block planning
Due to my lack of pre-existing knowledge of film poster conventions, I decided to look at existing horror movie posters in order to get an idea when creating my own product. One feature in particular is the billing blocks therefore I have looked at some in order to get an idea what they should look like and what should be written in one.
Billing blocks feature at the bottom of all film posters, it is here the directors, producers and writers are credited. These blocks are featured in small print in the bottom third, this allows credit to be given without attention taken away from the main image (which is usually the main selling point). I have researched into fonts also and the font steeltongs is used predominantly to give this stacked effect.

Progression Aims
By the end of this lesson I intend to start my website on Wix.com this will allow pre-set layouts but also allows me to cutomize to the conventional horror film website.
Today I have made progress in beginning my website task. This will be the homepage in which I have tested my main image and added my logo, film title and film slogan. There is still progress to be made as I need to complete the other pages and add my overall film trailer to make it conventional and professional. I am happy with the color scheme but improvements will be made. Overall i have met my aims for today.

Sound for my product final choices
This Prezi shows my final choices of sound for my film trailer before improvements. I am quite happy with my sound editing as it creates tension fitting with the traditional horror trailer.

sound update
I have added a scream sound effect on the part where the girl is captured this creates a sound wall and is conventional to most trailer. This was the main criticism i recieved therefore by adding this I have improved my trailer for my target audience.
